If you've ever paddled whitewater, you've probably heard stories, maybe even seen photos and videos of Chile. It is a worldwide Mecca of whitewater and waterfall paddling. This is the trip of a lifetime, or so we thought the first time we went to Chile!

For those that have hired boats, we will head into town to pick up your boats and paddles. - It's only 5 minutes from our accommodation

Where we go is flexible, it depends on what takes our fancy, water levels and the group. We will do the odd two day road trip if the group fancy it. We will take a rest day at some point in this period, to stop us burning out by the end of the trip! For an idea of the rivers we may enjoy - take a look below!
Time to say goodbye! We'll take you back to Temuco Airport or Pucon Bus Station to get you home! There is a flight leaving Temuco at 10.06am that lands in London Heathrow at 9.50am on Sunday morning.
They say a picture says a thousand words, so we'll let the photos do the talking. All of these photos were taken during one of our trips to our favourite place in the world; Chile! The rivers we may use include; the Palguin, Nevados, Trancura, Maichin, Puesco, Fuy, Truful Truful and the Coilaco, Blanco Sur and Tomatita waterfalls.
Next Level will provide you of digital copies of all photographs and video after your trip!
Your coach and guide will be the man you see pictured here; Owner and Head Coach Oli Kershaw.
Oli has a love for Chile and has spent more time boating there than almost anyone else in the UK. In winter 2018, Oli spent the 8 weeks in Chile, piecing together the perfect programme and scoping out the best rivers just for you.
To coach in these environments, it's absolutely crucial that you are experienced and practiced in them. Particularly when it comes to waterfalls, the old adage that "it's just falling" couldn't be more wrong. We've fallen hundreds and hundreds of feet over dozens of waterfalls to perfect these techniques.
Next Level are the UK coaching experts in waterfall boating. Controlling your boat in 3D space is a skill, one that you can learn, and one that we can teach better than anyone else.
All our coaching at Next Level comes from real boating experience across the globe and our coaches are all top boaters in their personal time. When they're not coaching you, they're sending 70ft drops in Chile, styling big volume in Norway, or competing in World Championships, so you can rest assured our techniques have been tried and tested! How many other coaches can say that?
We know that to give it your best on the river, and to enjoy your well-deserved rest from work, good sleep is incredibly important.
Whilst in Pucon, we will be staying in private rooms in a hostel right in the centre of town. Allowing us to enjoy the many restaurants and bars Pucon has to offer.
On the odd night away from Pucon, we will aim to find accommodation but often the best accommodation is camping riverside. We will provide the tents and cookware, all you need is a sleeping bag.
Most of our holidays come chalet catered -this one has a slight twist! Whilst we will be based in the town of Pucon, we may choose to travel away for the odd day or two to get the best rivers. This means that our plans need to be flexible. As such, rather than having our standard catering set up, we will be slightly more flexible. Whilst in Pucon, we have our local chefs for some dinners, and our favourite restaurants for others. Whilst on the road, we will decide as a group where and when we'd like to eat. Breakfast will be provided every day, what breakfast will be is up to you. We will have a riverside lunch each day. Of course, all of this is included within the price.
We can cater to all dietary requirements and preferences including Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free diets, but please let us know in advance so we can make sure to make you food you love all holiday.
Because we know you'll have been busy travelling, we even provide the wine and beer on the first evening to celebrate your arrival!
Getting to Pucon
By far the easiest way to get to Pucon, Chile is to fly to Temuco Airport. From there, we will pick you up.
There are several carriers that fly UK - Chile routes. This includes Air Canada, AeroMexico, Liberia and LATAM Airlines. Most of the carriers will fly to Santiago, Chile's capital. It is then a 90 minute flight from Santiago to Temuco.
Alternately, you can take a bus from Santiago airport all the way to Pucon. This takes about 9 hours, and overnight busses are readily available, very comfortable, incredibly cheap and will normally take kayaks for a small extra fee. We have taken a bus from Pucon to Santiago for less than £40 with a reclining seat and USB charger, this was the economy seat!
With regards to travelling kayaks, Air Canada state they will take kayaks. All other airlines you will have to ask independently, though they all take windsurf equipment and we have often wrapped our kayaks up as windsurf equipment and taken them successfully.
For those that don't want the hassle, we can rent boats and paddles in Pucon and even pre-book them for you in advance. This is all included in the price!
Once you have arrived in Temuco (or Pucon) we will arrange travel throughout the holiday. This includes pick up and drop off at Temuco Airport and Pucon Bus Station at either end of your trip.
